A Piece of "Organic" Advice

For those who are into eating organic fruits, a little guide to the stickers you always see on them. The numbers found on these labels tell you whether they are conventional, organic or genetically modified fruit. Remember, a store is not obligated to tell you whether the fruits they sell are GMO.

Conventional Fruit
Grown with herbicides and harmful fertilizers.
Four digits.
Mostly begin with the digit 4.
Do not begin with the digit 9!
E.g. 4922

Organic Fruit
Five digits.
Begin with the digit 9.
E.g. 99222

Genetically Modified Fruit
Begin with the digit 8.
E.g. 89222

Shop safe! =)

Sushiman!

Been neglecting this blog for a while already...so I think I'll make this little update on what's been happening in my life lately. Mainly, it has been a simulation of hell if I'm totally honest with myself =(

The reason for this is my dad's new job: owner of a foodcourt shop in Box Hill selling Japanese food. By the title of this post, I'm sure you would have guessed it's name already: Sushiman. However, I am NOT working there. Honestly, as a medical student, I rarely have enough time to do my own work, let alone take a part-time job at my dad's shop. My contribution to the shop is much more practical than that =P

During the mid-year holidays (and even now, I'm still in the process of editting these):

The Business Card

First Page of the Menu

Lunch Packs on Weekends

And so much more...all drawn and composed in photoshop T_T Whilst I do enjoy photoshopping, I can't say that I really enjoyed making these. They were so 麻烦 to make and my dad was also so 麻烦. Ah well, at least now I can use my studies as an excuse to procrastinate =D
Anyway, I am currently at CBP (yeah, you can tell how much work they're giving us ^^) but our academic advisor is on the way so I think I'll finish this post now.

Cookies!!!

Today we made cookies!! =D Big thanks to Cheng Khoon for providing the recipe ^^ We ended up making about half a dozen trays and we still only had one box left over...so full at the moment T_T but also so satisfied =P

Chean Ying

Yeu Sheng...looking at the first batch of cookies, a success!
