A LITTLE girl almost lost her life after twice being misdiagnosed and sent home from a Melbourne hospital with a burst appendix, her family claims.

The parents of nine-year-old Lea Poon Waye Nam are now demanding answers over her treatment at Casey Hospital emergency department.
