今天考完第一個考試。。。感覺有一點怪。爲什麽呢？因爲我們已經習慣了一個考試就可以放假。。。可是現在還有一個OSCE跟VIA要考哦，怎麽可以放鬆呢？（For 阿Liam和ccc，OSCE是我們的practical考試，VIA是代表“vertically integrated assessment”，要讀完第一和第二年的内容）還有很多東西要讀哦。。。（其實每一次考試我都說這一句話，是不是代表我讀書的方法有問題呢？算，senior都告訴過我未來五年的考試不會有一次是讀得完才考試的 =P）

各位要用功讀書，不要懶惰！十一月七號很快就來，加油！（好像是自我催眠，讀書有問題也只是我一個。。。真是廢話）

發瘋了。。。要回去讀書咯 T_T

各位請注意，如果未來一個星期看到一位帥哥駕着一輛很可愛的Micra。。。就是我啦 =D

怎麽啊？你們覺得適合我嗎？其實hor，我有一點傷心咯。。。平時我駕我的Civic，其他人眼尾都不掃一下。現在駕着這輛小Micra，每個人都會說 “啊！可愛哦！！爲什麽你會有這麽可愛的車？？” T_T

都沒有人想念我的Civic，咳。。。應該只有我這個主人才會擔心它的安危，關心它的情況。Panel Shop告訴我應該要三個星期左右才修理好，這三個星期我怎麽生存？？ =(

（可是它真的滿可愛。。。有一點不襯我=P）

昨天晚上我回家幫我老爸算錢的時候，他突然進來丟了一封A4 size的信在我面前，說了一句“So醫生，你看我應不應該做這個test。我去沖涼，OK？”我看一看，上面寫了大大個字：“National Bowel Cancer Screening Program”，下面有澳洲政府的標記。原來是一個FOBT Home Pack（換句話說，是Faecal Occult Blood Test）。裏面有：
1) Test Tube x2
2) Sampler x2
3) Reply paid envelope x1
4) Toilet "paper"（不是用來擦屁股那種哦。是給你bang sai之前放在廁所裏裝你的大便的。。。T_T）


政府send這份東西給我老爸應該是因爲他們看到他已經快要五十嵗啦，覺得應該讓他為自己健康擔心一下。我這個So醫生就會懂Bowel CA不是血出現在大便的唯一一個原因。Touchwood如果我老爸有螺旋菌造成的ulcer也可以有血在他的大便哦。。。所謂的screening test就是這樣的啦：陽性不代表你有病，陰性也不代表你沒有病。。。真矛盾。

其實我老爸已經做了一個colonoscopy appointment，都已經是diagnostic test了，所以，這個FOBT就沒有得出場咯。政府真會浪費納稅人的錢哦。。。不管三七二十一都會send這份東西給你。可能我會代替我老爸用，哈哈 =D

糟糕咯。。。今天早上心情還很好。。。

現在十二點多它就像最近世界的股價大跌，撲街撲到連阿媽都認不出。你是不是想問“到底發生了什麽事情呢？”

很簡單。今晚是我一生人第一次撞車哦。還好不是我的錯，是人家沖紅燈撞我。對方是一個“愛睡”的女孩，讀BioMedSci。因爲快要考試所以就決定要在Monash圖書館讀書，可是忘記看時間所以就搞到十二點才回家（爲什麽不能在家裏好好讀書呢？這樣就不會有問題咯。。。還連累我）

我的車只有左屁股受傷。她的車就沒有那麽好運咯。。。左邊車頭凹了進去，車頭燈撞到不能用，車下面滴着不知名的液體。撞的時候，感覺上就像在玩踫碰車一樣，連聲音都一樣。可是各位不要誤會哦，撞車很恐怖的咯所以都是安全第一，愛睡得話就不要駕車啦。。。

後天我要帶我的車車去修理。。。真麻煩 T_T

Update:
It turns out that my car was hurt pretty badly as well...just came back from the panel beater by tram. Seems like the crash had bent my back wheel on an angle and it's not actually very safe to drive it. It's going to cost AUD5000-6000 and two weeks to fix...jiak lat lor...

今天終于收到我這一年最重要的一封電郵。。。

Dear Student,

This email is to advise you that your provisional Year 3 clinical placement allocation for 2009 is at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton. Final placement allocations will only be available after the End of Year Board of Examiners meeting.

In allocating students to placements, every attempt was made to match student preference with the Faculty's resources and requirements. It is worth noting that the majority (more than 90%) of student were placed in either their 1st or 2nd preference, which is a much better outcome than in previous years.

You are reminded that should you be unhappy with your placement, a change can be arranged, but only on the basis of a one-to-one swap, which is your responsibility to organise Such swaps are subject to the approval of the Faculty, which will be guided by policy and the specific needs of each site. A swap form is also attached to this message.

Please note, swaps are NOT AVAILABLE for rural placements.

The Faculty also reserves the right to change the placement of any individual student, based on perceived needs, including educational grounds. Such changes are extremely uncommon, and will only occur after discussion with an individual student.

如果你現在可以看到我的樣子，一定會被嚇到。現在hor，我高興到連讀書都沒有心情（咳，自己騗自己。。。其實不管有沒有收到我都沒有心情讀書的啦）我想感謝我媽，我爸，上帝，觀音，地主公，関公，菩薩，etc，etc（我到底在講什麽廢話？腦子真的坏掉咯。。。）

宇聲也是拿到MMC，明年我們還可以一起讀書咯。。。很開心 ^_^ 不懂二姐和朝旺是不是都拿到MMC leh？希望大家都拿到自己想要的選擇。

好了。。。要回去讀書咯。。。如果不讀書的話，拿了Mickey Mouse Club都沒有用。加油！

Update:
剛剛收到風。。。朝旺，二姐和友望都拿到MMC哦！而且，猜一猜還有誰明年會去MMC？那班新加坡人咯（可是MMC並不是他們的第一選擇。。。現在他們一定很失望）。明年MMC就被馬來西亞人和新加坡人（還有我這條香蕉）霸佔！從此以後，它就是我們的地頭啦。。。哈哈。

咳。。。这么快又过了一个星期。又要回去“读死书”的生活。

这个假期算是我开始学医科以来的最有建设性的一个。真paiseh。。。一个好地地的假期我都没有好好享受，真对不起它。这个假期我做了什么？

1）读了第一年的anatomy (还没有读完gok lah T_T）
2）去了tulip farm
3）去看了日出（可是迟到了一点。。。）
4）做完我的HLSD（没有做完的话，今晚我就死了）
5）看了WALL-E和Jouney to the Centre of the Earth（满好看eh）
6）去了Moorabin DFO买了很多很多新衣（还比我女朋友多。气到她半死。。。hehe）
7）搞我的部落格搞到美美 =）

咦？其实好像又没有做到什么有建设性的东西。。。现在心情好多咯！=）

好了。。。已经两点咯。。。各位同学，明天要奋斗！！！

Last year I didn't go to this tulip farm when halls organised the trip...so Yeu Sheng and I went this year =) I've only been to this tulip farm once before and that was quite young so I was never able to appreciate flowers until now. The farm was really big, despite the drought in Australia at the moment. We chose to go today because we thought it wouldn't be very busy on a weekday but we were very wrong. There were so many 公公婆婆 there and also a lot of tourists =P But it was still a lot of fun and I enjoyed it so much. Another bunch of beautiful memories...thank you Yeu Sheng!

Thank you so much to Chau Wang for lending us his tripod. Without it, it would have been so hard to get photos of both of us (and also people would actually avoid the tripod as an added bonus =P)

I think it's fair to say that last night's Medball wasn't a total waste of money...there were heaps of places where they could improve on but there were also a lot of things they did well. Good work to the people who organised it! Talking about the bad points:

1) Our table was positioned next to one of the speakers --> really noisy when the band was playing. I felt like my eardrums were going to pop any moment =(
2) The food by consensus wasn't brilliant (but I thought it was ok...maybe I'm too much of a landfill on account of the fact that even Chau Wang said the food was pretty ordinary).
3)We waited for around 1 hour to get on the bus to go to the afterparty...and in the end we just decided to catch a cab home because the lounge was too crowded.

But all in all, it was a memorable night. Lots of photos (I've attached a select few below) and lots of memories. Come to think of it, it's the first time I've been to a ball with Yeu Sheng so I guess it makes it doubly memorable =D It was also the first time I used make-up ^^ (not on myself...on Yeu Sheng of course) Big thanks to her for having so much confidence in my absence of experience =P









We didn't get home until late...around 2? Can't really remember and all the girls had to get their make-up off before they took a shower. Haha, I just jumped into the shower ^^ Great night!!
