Earthquake!

Was eating dinner with my registrars last night when an earthquake struck. Apparently the epicenter was 30km away from Traralgon, measured 5.2 on the Richter scale. The tremors lasted a full minute and the lights were swinging back and forward on the ceiling. One of my registrars was quite distressed by the fact that her soup was shaking in her bowl (even though she is from Indonesia, a place where earthquakes are quite common). Me? I just kept eating...haha. Am I too insensitive?

It just felt like a train had gone over the ceiling. You know, sort of like in the old movies where the poor uni student lives in a small dinghy space underneath the railroads and every half an hour there's a train going over. It took a little while for it to click in my mind but sort of obvious when my registrar started screaming, "Oh my god, it's an earthquake!"
